So if you are a frequent visitor of my blog, you will see that I have been  reviewing a lot of make-up products. After thinking about what my next blog should be, I decided today's blog will be based on one of my favourite designers, Louis Vuitton.
This is not going to be any ordinary blog where I would usually review a product and give my opinion on what I think, this is going to be based around what I have been seeing around town. If you haven't guessed by the title, this is going to be a blog about 10 ways on how to spot a fake Louis Vuitton!
If you've done your research (like myself), you'll notice the difference between a fake LV and the real deal.

10 ways to spot a fake Louis Vuitton.

  1. Louis Vuitton bags, such as the Damier Ebene, Damier Azur and the Monogram are always made with ONE whole peice of canvas, for example on their monogram bags, one side of the design will always be upside down. This applies to all their canvas bags.
  2. Authentic Louis Vuitton bags will ALWAYS come with a dust bag and receipt.
  3. Louis Vuitton NEVER cover their handles with plastic
  4. If you have the monogram bag, take a close look at it. Are the 'LV' letters cut off? If so, it will be a fake. Louis Vuitton never cut off the 'LV' letters on any of their bags.
  5. If you own a speedy 30, for example, take a look under the end tab. If your Speedy does not have the number 30 underneath, it is fake.
  6. The Louis Vuitton multi-colour bag has 36 different colours. The fake Louis Vuitton multi-colours use only 20 colours.
  7.  Louis Vuitton logos are always symmetrically lined up.
  8. Louis Vuitton NEVER attach tags to any of their products.
  9. Stitching is perfectly hand stitched and aligned perfectly.
  10. Louis Vutton bags should have a date code and a serial number inside their bags and NEVER  a model number.
